I recently set up an isolated IoT network for my automation system/devices. I used this tutorial to set up my firewall, but instead of using a separate network, I used VLANs. I really like the setup, but I can’t get port-forwarding to work for the port hosting my duckdns server (7123, because 8123 was already being forwarded in my old setup). After setting up my firewalls, I attempted a simple port-forwarding setup on the VLAN that is hosting my IoT network. I also reserved the IP address for Home Assistant and SmartThings through my router. I really don’t think I’ve done anymore more than that so far, outside of messing strictly with port-forwarding. Can anyone see what I’m missing?
