Hi,
I was looking for kind of a table that lists some structured information and would at best offer some additional formatting for the headers and row labels. Tbh, I couldn’t really find sth. doing what I was looking for, but then I am pretty new to Hassio also, so maybe I just didn’t look in the right spots?
Right now I use a combination of the custom vertical-stack-in-card, divider entity and glance cards to come up with this:
This is already pretty ok for what I want, however the overall spacing is a bit too generous. Also I’d rather have the divider titles be labels at each row, but I couldn’t find a way to make this all kind of a simple small Excel-like table.
Any suggestions how to address that?
Regards, habitoti
Thanks. I tried that, but it doesn’t properly align the “columns”, but rather adjusts them per row as fits. I also can’t get rid of the leading icon. Will play around a bit with the markdown card, maybe it let’s me generate a proper table…
So seems like Markdown does everything I need in this case. Added bonus: templating works OOB, so I can easily round the presented values as needed:
It’s a bit of a tedious writing, though:
type: markdown

if you want to condense your table a bit with smaller spacing, you can grab modified version of text divider I created some time ago:
You get what you wish for Here is the updated code:

It allows for some more customizations of this component (font weight, color, spacing).
