Has anyone tried to flash Shaesh’s CC2652RB on a Windows PC? I am following the instructions and they are identical to the instructions for the Electrolama’s CC2652R zzh stick.
The thing is, when I connect the CC2652RB to the USB, under device manager, I get the device name, the long name “slae.sh cc2652rb stick - slaesh’s iot…” and an exclamation mark. So I am unable to run the python script to flash as there is no COM port.
When I connect Electrolama’s CC2652R zzh stick I get the usual CH340 and the associated COM port.
The only other option I have is to install Linux in dual boot and try that but it is just weird. Am I missing a device driver or something? I can’t find anything on the internet regarding this. I also pinged Slaesh via Telegram but no answer so far from him.
You said you weren’t aware your rpi could be used. Slaesh’s instructions provide an example for Linux (what runs on your rpi). Maybe you didn’t read them.
I have not tried it yet but will give it a go. Would be good to put this in the flashing guide. I will try to get hold of Shaesh but he is known to not respond, judging by the comments.
