Floating Device in Zigbee Mesh?

Hello all Genius people,
I am in process of moving my devices from Aqara hub to SONOF USB dongle due to range issues.

I noticed my contact sensor which I was using for shutter is not updating status when I checked in Map I could see it like a stand alone floating device in my Zigbee Mesh.

I can see device status is healthy tho.

I am using Zigbee2MQTT, so is there any special config I am missing here? I didn’t do any thing for all previous devices which I managed to add in this mesh?

You need to re-pair it.

I have tried repairing it multiple times. that doesn’t help.

Then it is out of range.

I am sitting right next to the router, I have tried the same with next to coordinator.
I am putting it in pairing mode keeping it few cm away from router :confused:

I have no idea whats happening.

Try to remove it first, then re-pair.

Thanks for the tips guys, I couldn’t make it work :frowning: I guess there is something wrong with this device as I skipped this and moved to next one and could add others without any issue but this one is still flying as a free bird on map page.

I have added the spare one to replace this contact sensor :slight_smile:

I’ve had that happen to battery-powered devices and I think I was able to fix it by having them report in (open/close a window, hit the button, etc.). The device was working fine, but the map appeared to be confused.

oh wow, thanks for that. I just got it by working moving both magnet and the metal close to each other and it did update the status, I refreshed the map page and surprisingly it was linked to my router. All good now :slight_smile:.
