For HmIP devices names didn't resolved

Hy,
I try to in HA my HmIP devices. I use debmatic and the names for my HM devices are resolved properly. But for my HmIP devices the names are still the serial numbers. The config from the components page is used nothing special. Json is used to resolve the names. But xml also doesn’t work. I already tried to remove the integration from the config, restart HA, remove all devices, restart HA, add the integration and restart HA again. But this didn’t helped.
I looked around and tired to isolate the issues but with pyhomematic I get my devices but no names only serial numbers. I looked also in the source code from home assistant but didn’t understand how the names are resolved.

Have anyone else this issue? Is it possible to resolve? If not is it possible to regex to change the names because one device has many different entities and I don’t want to change all by hand?

Thank you for your help.

Could you post your configuration? Usually resolving names works just fine if the block for HmIP is exactly like the one for Hm, apart from the destination port being different (usually 2010 instead of 2001).

Thank you, it’s not necessary anymore. But I looked for the english version of “Betriebsblindheit” (organization blindness).
I thought the block is not necessary because it is “missing” in in the ip block in the docu. But no it works, thanks.

Would it be better to add such a block in the docu?

Not in my opinion. The point is, that it is optional. You can decide yourself if you want to resolve names for one endpoint, but not the other. If the example did it in both cases, user might think they have to do it that way.
