I just started using the FordPass integration this week and run 2 automations at 21:00. One sends me a notification to let me know that the doors are unlocked. The other locks the doors if they are unlocked. Today, the automation didn’t lock the doors and I saw an error in the logs that the vehicle was in DeepSleep. DeepSleep is only caused by extreme temps, no movement of the vehicle in 14 days, or low battery voltage. Its not hot or cold here and I drove the vehicle this morning. Is it possible that the FordPass integration is polling the vehicle too often and wearing down my battery? I’m not using fordpas.refresh_status so I don’t think I’m polling excessively. I also looked at the fordpass_battery history and it never changed from STATUS_GOOD.
Thoughts on what I can add to monitor this and avoid battery problems?
