I am running home assistant OS on a raspberry pi. I have the duckdns add-on set up, and https is working fine using my duckdns domain. I am running a Jellyfin instance on another machine on the same network. In order to be able to cast to chromecast devices, access to jellyfin also needs to be encrypted. The tutorials for jellyfin all recommend running a reverse proxy, but the 443 port is already used by the home assistant plug in! I was therefor wondering if there was a way to forward the 8920 and 8096 port from my raspberry pi to my media machine? Would this take care of encryption?
Did you ever find a solution to this?
