i added everything u did but no reaction from the cm :stuck_out_tongue: I can see the cm but not cntrol… no errors in log :frowning: but let me watch again before making horses wild here :stuck_out_tongue:

well… i installed 32 bit firefox… nothing … it tells me again and again that the plugin is not installed … FUCKED UP!#

which cam do you have?

and if you cant see the controls you made an error in the HA yaml :wink:
could be that you have input_slider, or input_boolean twice in your yaml.

i dont know if it is 32 or 64.
but i installed Firefox version 35.0.1 a long time ago and didnt update.
and i had no trouble opening the webinterface

You can access the foscam webinterface with IE - after installing the plugin. Not with Chrome, and don’t know about Firefox…

not according to the documentation.
and i tried but the webinterface from the type of webcam i have doesnt load in IE only in Firefox as stated in the docs.

other cam types could have other options.

thtas indeed the secret… new firefox wont support plugins like for foscam.

Must then indeed be dependent on cam type. With mine (9831 & 9805 if I remember correctly) it is as I said. One more drawback of the inferior foscam software…

I got it working somehow… mounted on the wall but pic not sharp :frowning: I always have to modify the sharpness

I get no error here but no sensors in hass. Cam is showing up correctly. I have ddns actiated… this might be this ?

Sounds like you don’t have your configuration.yaml setup right.

first thing i see is that you didnt have the input_sliders and input_selects setup rightfully in your HA yaml.
that gives you the warnings that appdaemon cant find them.
the devstate gaf foute data (sorry i didnt change the language yet) means that the cam gives wrong data back.
i see that happen sometimes more, sometimes less.
the default checks for settings every 10 seconds. if it doesnt get right data back that warning appears.
“image setting gaf foute data” appears because the sliders are not as they should be.

do you have other inputsliders or input selects created?

then you have something double.
check out your HA log.

I’m having trouble getting the contrast slider to work.
I just found there is a misspelling currently in the firmware.
Because of this, the current api call for contrast needs to be:

/cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=setContrast&constrast=44

In the last part of this line contrast is spelled as “constrast”

Where do I need to make changes to het your app to work with this firmware?

what u mean with configuration.yaml? I didn’t have input_select but created it now … how to integrate now ? i just restart appdaemon and reload groups in hass ?
