I, as a regular FOSDEM visitor, am continuously surprised, that there is no home automation devroom at FOSDEM. Which made me honestly wonder: why? Is FOSDEM not the place to discuss open source related topics? Has it so far been just lack of organizing? If that’s the case, anyone interested in running a devroom?

The call is open up to 04 October: deadline for developer room proposals
Heyo! We’re working on one with two volunteers. I think from the devroom point of view we’re almost ready with finalizing the proposal. However, we might need help with running the actual room on the day itself to give ourselves some more room to get a breath of fresh air and not be stuck in the room for a whole day. But that might be something for if we get accepted.
