Found an interesting zwave device

This Toggle switch fits over your existing light switch. I’ve no idea if it will work with HA, but I’m going to get one.

If this works, I can use it as a wireless SPST relay. And use it to break code and control my fireplace without wires.

Sounds interesting - what ZWave unit do you have in your current setup?

I’m using an ISY, but I’m about to switch over to the aeotec usb dongle and use that in HA on a VM. One of these days I’m going to get it working in docker.
