Ive recently had a FoxESS inverter & battery installed. The app seems sluggish in that it only updates every 5 minutes. Is there any way to change it to every minute?
Also if I leave the app open in the background, as soon as I select it, the data will not update until the next 5 minute increment.
It would be better if they at least provided the timestamp of the last updated data.

Im guessing this all falls into manufacturer, but thought maybe theres something i have missed.

The FoxESS app is stuck at 5 minutes, because it’s reading the data from their website and they’re only polling every five minutes.
If you want it more frequently then look at installing BottleCapDave’s (excellent) modBus extension then you can set the period. You’ll need an extra piece of hardware to plug in to your inverter’s RS485 port so that it then broadcasts on your home WiFi.
