FP300 issues

I am having ALOT of issues with this fp300 sensor and I dont think it is functioning the way it needs to. I have recorded two videos FP300 - Google Drive .

In BOTH scenarios Absence delay timer =10 and PIR detection Interval = 5 . First and foremost I do not understand what these settings are meant to do as the observed behavior is NOT IN ANY WAY indicative of what the inputs are set to. Refer to the video below and explanation

  1. PIR TRIGGER.mov , this video show cases scenario where PIR sensor is triggered. Once triggered I leave the room. As you can see the timer is started instantly when the PIR goes to true. The presence sensor does NOT TRIGGER. After 15 seconds the PIR sensor clears. I dont have 15 set to any value

  2. PRESENCE TRIGGER.mov, this video show cases scenario where the presence sensor is triggered. Once triggered I leave the room. As you can see the time is started instantly when the presence sensor goes to true. After again 15 seconds the PRESENCE SENSOR clears. Again I dont have 15 seconds set to any value

the above was zigbee integration. I tried it with ANOTHER FP300 using the matter integration

If you refer to matter.mov you will see that once again occupancy is detected, timer starts, and it takes 21 seconds to clear. The matter integration has way less parameters but NONE Of my parameters are set to 21.

What is going on here?

I did some RTFM - looks like there’s an inbuilt timer. See the section re Absence Timer:

Have you set either of those timers, or is there a default?
