As a user, I would like to be able to see specifically where my disk space is being used. For example, I would like to know if my disk is full because I have a lot of backups or because my media folder is full.
Currently all we see is a percentage of the total disk space used:
Scanning a whole disk is quite a heavy operation. If it is your HA instance, it may be that monitoring a few simple folders would solve your problem without the load a full fs scan would pose on your system. Have you considered searching the forum for the database size sensors and add to that some sensors with the folder integration?
