Free tv BUT constant ads, would you?

Would you accept a free 55" 4K HDR TV with sound bar if it was constantly displaying ads on a second attached smaller screen?

Its real: This free TV comes with two screens - The Verge

I know this isn’t HA specific, but I’m curious about the response from this HA community.

I wouldn’t be remotely interested in yet another data farming operation that also displays ads the entire time. I would take the free TV and remove the extra monitor and block all traffic to the internet for that MAC address and call it a day .

Of course I will…

I will definitely screw it open, find, what is inside, hack it and use the second screen as a info display for my own stuff, like HA…

If not possible, just glue a nice printed banner with some piece of art in front of it.

But it surely never will display a commercial in my living room. Period.

Well there is a way to deal with it using adguard and adguard android app. Why android app? Well because I’m lazy to get out from the bed when i watch tv.
I used to block ads on youtube using adguard app. When ad pops up, i just check on the app address and block it.
It reduced ads on youtube for 90%.
Drawback was that I blocked google play so I coudn’t check for upgrades.
By the time I was using lan cable to connect my tv to router.

No.

The second screen is WAY too big.
And the tracking is FAR too onerous.
