Hi,
For our office we’re using Friends of Hue switches to toggle our lights, works like a charm and was easy to setup via deconz. But recently i’ve ran into a struggle, when adding a new switch, the pairing works fine but after linking the newly added switch to a group nothing happens. Removing and re-adding a currently working switch does not have the same problems as adding a new switch.
Has anyone encountered this problem before or does anyone know the solution?

What do you mean with adding the switch to a group? And what do you expect to happen?
In deconz you can pair a FoH switch using the ‘other’ category. When succesfully paired, all light will briefly flicker. After that, you can add a switch to a group and select commands (ie toggle lights with top-left button). But after setting the command, nothing happens when I push the button
This has nothing to do with HA.
Is deconz not a part of home assistant and used in configuring a setup?
No, deconz isn’t part of HA. It can be integrated into HA so you can use devices linked in deconz but it is a seperate piece of software. What you have described is pure deconz nothing to do with HA. You could do the same in HA but if the switch isn’t working in deconz it will probably also not work in HA.
