Frient Air Quality Sensor and HA?

Hi,

I recently bought this air quality sensor by frient. I thought it would work without issues with HA like many other zigbee sensors I already have, but I’m having trouble even adding the sensor to the Zigbee Home Automation.

I’m running Home Assistant OS (latest version) in a RPi5 with a SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus V2. Other sensors (e.g. aqara temperature and humidity, door sensor, etc.) work without issues.

Anyone else has this sensor? Do yo have similar issues? Any help is welcome :pray:

You don’t say whether you’re using ZHA or Z2M.

Edit: Sorry, just re-read your post.

According to the Blakadder database, it should work on both, but I can’t see it in the Z2M list of devices. (There is another device with the same code, but they say it’s sold by Develco.)

Frient say it works with Z2M but not ZHA.

There are several ZHA issues reported on Github, but all have been closed as “stale”. Not sure where that leaves you.
