Has anyone had any issues with the Frient motion sensor. Details below,
Its as if it can be seen but does not update?

I have one of those, on Zigbee2MQTT. No issues with it at all.
You did pair it in place, either directly to a nearby router, or with a router/coordinator nearby?
I think I’m using ZHA.
I paired it originally right next the the usb dongle.
Is there much to changing to Zigbee2MQTT
Yeah, don’t do that unless that’s where it’s staying.
ALWAYS pair Zigbee devices in their final location. Moving them after pairing pretty much ensures you’re going to screw the mesh up.

Do I switch to ZIGBEEMQTT?
There’s not likely to be any point. If the device is correctly identified and the sensors show up then changing won’t make any difference.
Your problem is likely to be interference or it being out of range of the mesh.

I’ll delete and repair, I have more devices further away from the coordinator but they’re mains powered tbf.

Hi,
I’ve tried deleting and re-adding.
I’ve factory reset the device, then re-added it. It’s stops at interview complete, Configuring.
I left it at that stage for some time, came out of the device search section and reviewed the device. It now says the device has no entities.
There is a mains powered zigbee sonoff light controller above it and this is all very close to the co-ordinator. Any ideas?

Did you ever get this motion sensor working correctly, I’ve just bought one, and, for the most part, it works, temperature is a bit flakey and not sure why there are 3 occupancy sensors, pretty sure the lux sensor isn’t working correctly either.
I have one, connected to Z2M, all sensors work perfectly.
Yeah I got mine working with ZHA.
Only thing that I’m not reading is the battery level. I think that’s because I’m using rechargeable batteries.
I have the same problem. I added the sensor but it has no entity. Another thing to do ?

had the same problem. after deleting the frient sensor device, every re-pairing would not show any entities anymore. tried everything and what helped was: changing the name of the dongle and the frient sensor after pairing so that it changes the name of the entities too. then they would show up
