Frigate should have an option to change storage location just like HA has when you change default backup location by clicking the three dots in the Backup settings for HA. Frigate should have similar feature for storage to accomplish this without trying to delete or backup the frigate.db, frigate.db-shm, frigate.db-wal files which is terribly complicated and it unclear how to do this easily. There is no step by step guide with sample illustrations to show or follow how exactly you can do this. Many others tell you to do this or that, write a script, etc. without sample images / docs like for example frigate documentation. This frigate feature would give the user an easier way to change storage location without “cannot mount bind_frigate at /data/media/frigate because it is not empty” and other messages. I can’t figure out how to resolve this other than starting a new install of my NAS on my other Pi5 and start from scratch. Thank you sorry for the long post. HAOS is installed on my original Pi5 with the Frigate add-on, ZBT-1 and a few other home device integrations such as lights, motion sensor, locks and two cameras.
This is not the frigate forum. Frigate is not developed by the home assistant team.
