Frigate Docker Container with Traefik

Hi All,

I installed Frigate on a separate docker container, running on the same VM as my Home Assistant Supervised install. I also access my Home Assistant instance via traefik (using wildcard certs/domain hassio.local.example.com) but its local IP is 10.0.15.1. I can also reach Frigate directly by going to http://10.0.15.1:5000.

I added a panel_iframe to Home Assistant so I can open up Frigate within Ingress, but when I click on the iframe, it comes up blank. Interestingly, when I access Home Assistant without going through the FQDN (http://10.0.15.1:8123), Frigate comes up when clicking on the iframe link. Is there something I need to adjust on the reverse proxy?

Figured it out…I needed to add a line to my traefik dynamic.yml file. I checked the dev options in Chrome while trying to access the iframe and it gave me an error about a header custom value being set to SAMEORIGIN. I found the related line in the dynamic.yml file and edited it to say “allow-from https://frigate.local.example.com”. I get a different “invald header” error in Chrome console, but at least the iframe works.

Now to figure out how to get it working in the HA app
