Hello,
I am new home assistant. i just installed a IP camera in my living room. i am able to get the feed through frigate. however in sensor tab everything is unavailable due to which i am unable to get notification of motion or person detection on my google home mini. More in configuration tab in below picture i cant toggle on/ off as well

this is an issue usually with mqtt

I had the same issue and it was because I hadn’t correctly setup and enabled MQTT in Frigate yet.

I’m having the same issue with all the sensors in all cameras showing unavailable.
I have installed MQTT Explorer and I can see that Frigate is publishing messages
I have also noticed that there are no messages from Homeassistant.
I have reconfigured the MQTT Integration and it is successful
I’m struggling to work out where the issue lies. There don’t appear to be any problems showing in the logs
Can anyone suggest what else I can do to trace this issue? Many thanks
UPDATE: I fixed this by reconfiguring the Frigate Integration (not the Addon)
Just in case anyone comes across this one (as I did). I recently moved to a new HA setup and have Frigate running within its own IP/container. I set up Frigate integration & addon and still had unavailable for most camera items (except FPS). Turned out the issue for me was that I had not added the MQTT device/integration to HA itself, once I connected HA to the same MQTT server as Frigate and reloaded the Frigate integration, I got all the sensors working.
