I have Frigate installed and working on my PC, it is not installed on my Home Assistant machine
I cannot get the integration to connect.
I am not sure how important Frigate and HA have the MQTT setup.
I have Mosquito installed in HA, I created a user/password.
I am supposed to add the MQTT server into Frigate. What is this server address? The same IP as Home Assistant?
If MQTT is not configured correct will that keep home assistant from connecting to Frigate?
The MQTT ip is the same as HA if installed via HA. Not sure about the other question.
Hello so I have a similar issue with my frigate connection to HA. I was able to get it working but after a reason update can’t remember if it was the home assistant update or a frigate integration update the instigation is not connecting any more (picture bellow). Frigate is installed in the computer and my MQTT Mosquitto installed as an add on in my HA. On the frigate config file I added the MQTT info and it worked until the update so not sure what happed any help will be appreciated.
