You need to update the location of the frigate database to be /config/frigate.db (and move it to that location). Then you can create a media share with the name frigate
.
I changed the db location:
database:
path: /media/networkshare/frigate.db
Then when I launch frigate it stops immediately because the “frigate database is locked”.
I consider myself a newbie to frigate.
Can you walk me through the required configuration?
Is there a way to let the frigate database local and choose recordings to a network share? How can I configure it at frigate.yml ?
Warm regards.
Like I said, it needs to be in the config directory not on the share. Check the docs Advanced Options | Frigate
