A while back Frigate didn’t support timelapse so I wrote my own node app to handle that for me.
It takes still images every 2(ish) seconds and stores them in a folder, then when a url is called it’ll make a short video of those images and send them to home assistant (if you want it to).
I’ve tidied up the code somewhat and released it on GitHub and DockerHub.

I find it a bit quicker and easier than the current way of grabbing timelapses from Frigate and it will probably serve no use to anyone other than myself but figured I’d share it.
