Fronius Gen24 and 4 SmartMeter TS 65A-3 - how to identify them?

I’m new to Fronius (my inverter was configured yesterday). I have 20 panels on roof (9KW peak), a Gen 24 inverter, and 4 SmartMeters models TS 65A-3 linked my modbus. It’s a small building with 3 zones, plus a main meter, so my Fronius smart meters insert this way:

  • primary : in serie with the official main meter from electricity provider
  • floor 0
  • floor 1
  • floor 2

I have taken note of the serial numbers found on the meter stickers, but they do not relate to the serial numbers found in the API, or any oder id found in the large JSON from solar_api.

I gave them names in the inverter, and did my best to give the same names in the HA devices, but short of testing with a heavy load on the diverse circuit, is there really no way to find which meter contains which serial number ?

Thanks !
Charles

Hi !
They should have assigned a number for the SolarNet configuration. But tbh I don’t know how that is done or read from the meter itself. See the manual of the device.

Other than that, just compare total energy count :person_shrugging:
