Right now I’m working on my fire/smoke alarm system. One thing I really miss is the ability to present a notification/alert as an overlay in lovelace. My idea is that some alerts should be presented on top no matter where you are in lovelace.
I am looking for the same thing!

Yes, this looks great! Is it possible to call it globally and it will stay on top of any dashboard in lovelace (no need to integrate it to the dashboard)?
K, this is called browser mod, just follow the README.MD if you have any questions about it, just ask. At first it was a little complicated for me.

Do you know if it works in the companion app?

If you go into the companion app that you wish to have it work in and click on the Browser Mod icon in the sidebar and slide the selector bar to “Register” it will work. You can also choose to select the “Auto-register” slider. I have not tested that out, but I would think that will work as well.
Everything else works just as shown above and is EXACTLY what I wanted!! You do have to refresh your browser a lot. If you make automation changes and the Browser Mod doens’t respond, try refreshing the browser and clearing your cache. That does alleviate a lot of hiccups. I did find on one automation that I had to delete the Browser Mod under ‘actions’ and re-add it for it to work correctly. Otherwise it is working perfectly.
jivgym, do you know if there is a way in HA to make it show the notification in the center? I see in your example that it is, but when I run Browser Mod it shows up more toward the top.
