I can happily control my Fujitsu Cassette AC using the additional IR receiver and a Broadlink Mini4. BUT.
I would like to set a deadband between heating and cooling. I have tried the simple thermostat, I have tried the new lovelace thermostat.
But neither do it for me.
I have resorted to a couple of separate automations that check if the temp has dropped above/below a threshold for 10 mins then if the time is in the activation window set the temperature to 24 (cooling) /20 (heating). Is this the slickest way?
I would love to pull the variable out to a UI so I can have a card my wife can use, rather than the values being hidden in automations
Mostly solved this myself with the HACS scheduler component and Scheduler UI card.
