Fujitsu ASYG07KMCC Integration

Hello,

I’ve been looking around the forum and couldn’t/missed the answer i was looking for, so my hopes are here.

In the first place i’m trying to get my AC units on the WIFI without the overprices Fujitsu adapter (€110!!)
I’ve had success with ESPHome and an IR board, now i just need to tap 5v somewere from withing the AC.

There is a 4-pin output from were the WIFI adapter has to be connected, but can’t find an answer if that delivers 5v or more, and what pin to use.

AC units re inductive loads. You are not going to find a relay to control them that is 5v controlled that will last more than a week. That 110 relay that is made to handle the load specifically is actually a very good price. By the time you add contactor , the control circuit, and the snubber circuit to keep it all from blowing up you will probably be higher than that.

But the most left PIN of the 4 is 12v. Isn’t it possible to use a Step-Down buck converter?
