Fully Kiosk Browser Dashboard Update Issues

Anyone seeing recent issues causing the dashboard to not refresh when using Fully Kiosk browser on Android?
I have a clock on my dashboard which fails to automatically update the time. It’s been working fine for years, but this week it’s starting causing issues on two different tablets.

A late reply, but yes, I’ve been having the same issues after years of Fully Kiosk use. There’s a thin blue scrollbar-like line which runs along the top of the page (I guess as it’s doing a refresh, or as the data on the page is updating) and about once a day now it just stops part-way through.

Did you find any solution?

Ah, in the unlikely event it helps anyone else, my problem was that I had switched from a Fire tablet to a Samsung one, and I had the camera-based motion detection enabled, which doesn’t work properly on that device,

When I disabled that on Fully Kiosk, and relied purely on turning the screen on remotely using my other motion sensors via the HA Fully Kiosk plugin, all was well.

Thanks. I have the same problem and trying this now (turning off motion detection). FWIW, this is a problem on a fire tablet. It also periodically crashes (black screen), so hoping turning off motion detection fixes that too. If someone pings me on this later, I’ll update the thread to let you know if the problems went away (if I forget to come back).

I’m stepping back in with an update, but not a solution.
I have a couple of Galaxy Tab tablets. I just put LineageOS on one, hoping that the crashes would stop. Sorry to say, it’s even worse now.

It’s a fresh install and no motion detection enabled.

After a few minutes, my HA dashboard freezes, the clock does not update and restarting the start URL results in a blue progress line making it one third across the screen. Fully Kiosk has crashed.

I see the same behavior on another tablet running the latest Samsung Android too.

Seriously, how hard can it be to display some buttons and cards on a webpage without crashing?

Did anyone find a fix? I’m ready to go another route, perhaps a different browser or the HA app.

I’ve abandoned Fully Kiosk and gone with the HA Companion App. It’s rock solid after a few days running on Lineage.

It seems that Fully has some things going on that tend to crash Webview, whereas the companion app does not.
