Fully Kiosk Browser with Amazon Echo Show

Is it possible to run HA with Fully Kiosk on the new Echo Show 15 or only on fire tablets?

…maybe i also want to use the new fire hd 10 tablet, but i cant find any wall mounts for it…

I am in the same boat, I am about to pull the trigger on touch screen monitor , but the show 15 would be an ideal solution if it works

How do you do right now?
I do automation in Alexa on motion sensor in living room and I open Silk every time.

Just came across this topic…The Fire HD 10 wall mount can be found here: https://mbmounts.com/

I was using it for several years…It’s nothing fancy, but serves it’s purpose. I ended taking out an electrical outlet in the kitchen and mounting it into the box with a direct wire…However, I would be very intrigued if anyone has figured out a way to hack the Echo Show 15 with Fully Kiosk and have it ‘always on’.

There is a drop down box at the bottom of the screen to select the HD fire tablet size and then another one will appear to select the generation:

There must be a bright spark out there somewhere who can hack Fully Kiosk onto this…please… pretty please.

I have tested it, installation worked fine, however I was very disappointed with the limitations caused by fire tv:

  • screen on off not possible via fully kiosk
  • no android screensaver which can be controlled
  • no fully short cut on the desktop

Really a pity! The hardware is really great for this amount of money.
