Fully kiosk causes wifi cutting out and won't connect to HA integration anymore

Today i replaced my old laggy wall mounted tablet for a new android tablet. Installed fk on the new tablet, set up settings like on my old tablet. Removed every instance from my old tablet and everything seemed fine.
Then out of the blue i started to have internet connection issues. Never have in years. When i quit fk everything works fine (so far), but fk now won’t connect to HA integration anymore. I set up the remote admin like i did before and got a license and it worked for a few hours (apart from the internet dropping), my automations worked and everything but now i get the following error in the integration: Connect call failed (insert ip adres:2323).

Lost here as to why i can’t connect to the integration anymore.

Do you need the integration? Fully Kiosk works perfectly well on my wall tablets without.

That.s what i am trying now. Installed the apk from FK to make the motion detection work from the tablet. My only issue is it takes like a second or so to load.
While i used to trigger the screen via an mmwave sensor zone so it was active as soon as i arrive to the tablet.

Trying to figure out now how to best trigger the battery management. Which i also did from a HA automation from 20% to 80%. Now i have it on battery security from 40% to 60% from the tablet itself. Otherwise it would be like two 1 hour charging cylces from the smart plug qne fine tune that based on actual battery usage. How do you manage that part?

The battery security setting on the tablet should be good enough. If, however, you still want to rely on automations, you can install the HA companion app, disable all sensors except the battery ones and use an automation like you did before

I just use the FK motion detection setting to turn on the screen. As for battery, it’s on charge all the time. When it goes off charge (indicating a power cut) the tablet sends me a text to alert me - though that doesn’t involve HA.

Thx, bit stupid i didn’t think of that cause that’s what i do to monitor all other devices running HA companion app. :joy:

Only thing is i still have random short internet outages since i installed the tablet on my wifi network. Already forgot the network on the tavlet and reconnected which seemed to fix it but yesterday evening lost it again for 5 minutes. Always a pain in the … to find the cause of those minor cuts. Is it coincidence and provider/modem related or a device causing it. Not a clue how to find out.
