Hello Folks,

I configured Fully Kiosk on my tablets, and now able to see video streams on my Home assistant.

Now i would like to record x minutes on motion detection where it was challenging.

Which sensor should be triggered when a motion is detected?
How can i record a file locally for x seconds … and keep it for x days ?

I have found many tutorials online but didn’t work out, its saying camera does not support recording…

Any guidance or if there is a 3rd party plugin i can use making my life simpler instead of automations?

What cameras (manufacturer) are you using? If you don’t have an NVR for your cameras, e.g. Unifi Protect, you could look into Frigate NVR which I think many of us use. It has a very powerful integration into Home Assistant as well.
