Furbo Home Dog Camera and Riley

Hi !!

I’m instered in include my 2 spécial caméra in HA !

• Furbo https://shopus.furbo.com/, it’s a camera with a speacial feature who can throw pet food to my dog (bernease moutain dog of 40kg )
• Riley appbot https://www.wee-bot.com/products/appbot-ripley-home-camera-robot, it’s a camera who is able to move

Those two cameras needs to use the specific app and I didn’t see anywhere a plugin to integrate them in HA/Domoticz/Jeedom …

Is there someone who know those camera ? and able to integrate them in HA ?

First step is to ask the manufaucturer if they have an API.

Second, search the internet for a python project for controlling these devices.

Already asked Furbo and they said there is NO API but a lot of devices in home assistant does not have API and they are supported. I plan to reverse engineer the App and try to catch the stream.

Furbo also does not give you an option to stream at home which is a problem for me because their servers are in US and from Bulgaria to US and back to Bulgaria its too much travel time to watch my dog.

Furbo have integration with Alexa which can feed the dog at some scheduled time. If there is Alexa. So they are using some kind of soft. Im searching also.

Yep no API does not mean no integration, just harder.

Any luck with this? My wife is interested in getting a furbo camera for our dogs, and if there’s some integration that’d be great!
