I previously had the Galaxy Watch app connecting to my Home Assistant (at least a couple of months ago). However, when I start the app now I get the screen to select which instance of HA and when I select one, it says “Continue on your phone” and my phone shows the HA login page. However, with 2-3 seconds (way before I can get my userid/password entered) the watch reverts to the instance selection screen. Continuing the login on the phone just goes to a “Wear device settings” screen that says “Manage device Galaxy Watch Ultra (3GGY)” with a spinner that never ends.
Uninstalling on the watch and reinstalling yields the same result, and deleting the device from my HA instance has also not changed anything.
Looks like there are several reviews mentioning the same thing, some going back a few years. Has anyone else gotten this to work?
Additionally, looking at the app logs, there isn’t anything obvious–no connection or SSL errors being logged. I do see it attempting to create the auth URL:

Additionally, Settings->Companion app shows an option for “Wear OS settings - Manage Wear OS App” but tapping that just gives me the same "Manage device Galaxy Watch Ultra (3GGY) screen, now with a button “Log in Wear OS device”. Pressing that button gives me a screen with instances, and choosing the homeassitant:local instance gets me to the login screen. Logging gets me to a new screen titled “How would you like to name this device? This is used to identify your device” with a device name of Galaxy Watch Ultra (3GGY). Pressing savejust gets me back to the Wear device settings screen with the perpetual spinner
