Hi, total noob so bear with me.
Im looking to add a way to remote control my electric gates, which currently are operated by
A, remote fob (I’m wanting removed due to shared neighbour abuse)
B. Wall mounted switch.
Im after a stand alone system I can integrate from my android based tablet which can be also activated from both android and iPhone apps if possible.
Ultimate objective
Gate control from phone in car
Garage door control
Security lighting
- whatever else I’d add later on, say garden watering etc.
I have cctv via the tablet and security system from PYRONIX integrated, I thought I could use the tablet as well for automation maybe?
Would home assistant be a system I could install and what’s involved?
