GE myTOUCH SMART Plug-in Wi-Fi Smart Switch

So I have GE myTOUCH SMART Plug-in Wi-Fi Smart Switch (Jasco MyTouch) and am not sure how to get it to work with HA using the GUI (or if it is even possible, yet). I’ve done some searches and seem to only be finding this topic:

GE Dimmer Switch & Smartthings over MQTT

I have HA setup with a mqtt to smartthings. I have tried setting up my first device which is a GE Dimmer switch. However all I can get it to do is dim. It does not recognize the on or off. I have tried adding it as a both a switch and a light. Switch doesn’t allow me to use bright_state_topic. Light allows me to use that but thats the only function that is working. This one is talking about configuration files (and I’m not there yet). I was able to set up a TP-Link switch using the GUI from HA.

As I’m wrapping my head around this, I don’t think the original topic applies. The device I have is Wi-Fi and I don’t think its a “SmartThings” device. I have the device working on my Android.

At the time of this writing, there is more information on the box than on the web page. I think the biggest thing I can contribute right now is to say DO NOT BUY THIS DEVICE if you want it to work with HA as it is not as easy to get working with HA.
