Gecko Light Switch

Hello everyone,

I need some help answering a question. Hope someone has researched already and can share his/her knowledge with us all.

I bought a Gecko light switch, American product, and upon receiving the product, I noticed that it wouldn’t fit in the EU wall sockets I have. Thus, sadly stored the products for months. Now that I started using Home Assistant, I was wondering if I could use the wireless switches that came along.

I’ve been browsing, I think it’s bluetooth. I am going to try with bluetooth tracker in home assistant. Need a bluetooth adapter first.

What I’ve found:

  • Bluetooth Low Energy v4.0
  • Up to 300 feet unobstructed line-of-sight.
