GeoLocation tracking teleporting

So my wife and I both of Pixel 3’s, fully updated. This has been happening for a while but I am on HASS 0.112.4, I actually do not think this is a HASS issue but thought I would ask here first.

We are using the latest Android app also, but again this was happening before we started using the app (used owntracks) but it just seems to be worse now.

The issue is, the GPS tracking will teleport you back home sometimes, meaning you will trigger a leave… home/leave which sends things a bit nuts in the house.

any ideas?

it seems to change a lot depending on android companion release, the whole issue went away there for a bit but now it has come back again but not as bad.
