Get light variables current states - AppDaemon

Does anyone know how I can get the existing variables associated with my lights state other that the on/off.
Specifically I’m after the brightness, color_temp and rgb_color so that I can change with light briefly and restore the existing settings.

I’ve looked through the documentation and don’t know how I can achieve this.

Check get_state function. You can specify what attribute you want to get.
