Hi Guys,
I have been configuring Home Assistant as a lock down project and had lots of fun setting it up and integrating it with various devices. The biggest challenge was getting my Rako lighting to work, which I have finally done (details here if anybody is interested
I can now turn my lights on and off with automations and have bought some SONOFF sensors which are working well with them too.
The problem I have is that as the lights are also controlled by Rako light switches and by Alexa, the status of the lights in home assistant is often incorrect.
Apple Homekit seems to correctly monitor the state of the lights (when connected via the Rako cloud gateway) but unfortunately Rako have not updated their Homekit integration with the latest IOS so it only seems to work on an old ipad.
I’ve given it a lot of thought and can’t come up with a solution. Any ideas from you smart lot?
