Newbie here. 2nd week with HA (HAOS on x86)
I have actions working in carplay to close my garage door via myQ and to arm and disarm my ring alarm.
but I also would like to see the status of these devices in carplay (or announce them). I can do if via siri using shortcuts, but I’d rather do it from the HA carplay screen directly.
What are the best options for displaying device status in carplay with the HA companion app.
Note: I originally created the IOS actions in the app, but now have moved them to the server. I’d prefer to keep them on the server so they are accessible and automatically updated for all household members.
