Getting "unexpected error" when trying to set up monoprice integration

I am trying to set up monoprice integration. I got this cable but when I enter

      /dev/serial/by-id/usb-Prolific_Technology_Inc._USB-Serial_Controller_D-if00-port0

And then try to set it up, I get “an unexpected error has occurred”.

Any suggestions?
