Ghost component? (how to remove a component that doesn't exist) [SOLVED]

So thanks to a media failure and my inability to find my backups I had to rebuild from scratch my system. Easy enough and all is good and working now. I do have one issue though and that is that Home Assistant thinks I have plex installed somewhere on my network. I’ve looked everywhere and I don’t even have a mention of plex in any of my coinfigs or yamls so I’m not even sure why its showing up.

Unfortunately I’m getting a (persistent) notification to set it up and I can’t clear it. Does anyone know how to get this to go away and better yet why its even showing up?

Are you sure you don’t have a plex media server somewhere on your network?

I guess I did. I didn’t even know it was still running as I thought I had disabled it over a year ago. Somehow it was still running in the background of my desktop. problem solved.

Home Assistant - letting you know about rouge services on your network since… well whenever discovery was introduced.

Not sure about the color of services but it can find rogue ones.
