GitHub’s Octoverse 2024 sees Home Assistant as #1 of Top 10 public projects by contributors on GitHub, and #2 of Top 10 open source and public projects attracting the most first-time contributors in 2024 on GitHub.

Relative for Home Assistent is also that in 2024, Python overtook JavaScript as the most popular language on GitHub:
