GivTCP Energy - charge_energy_total is not being updated

Hi,
I’m pretty new in this, so sorry if this is a dumb question…
I have an automation that monitors the battery total charge energy and total discharge energy to keep tabs on the cost of the energy currently in the battery.
However, this week the automation failed because the “sensor.givtcp_xxxxxx_battery_charge_energy_total_kwh” has stopped updating, even thought he battery is being charged daily.
Any suggestions what might have gone wrong and how to cure this?

Looing a little deeper, I see that the current reported status of the charge_energy_total has jumped up by an impossible amount in just a few days (~1200 kWh!). This may be related to why it has stopped increasing by the normal 10-12 kWh daily.
I need to find a way to get the real battery charge total restored against this entity.

Maybe it helps if you try to find the erroneous value in the statistics and remove it (Settings–>Developer tools–>Statistics).

I’ve got the same.

Up until 16th April it was rising slowly and around 90kWh (recent swap of the inverter reset it). Looking at the History graph there was then a spike where it went up to 1233.6 and back down again to the 90 mark. It continued rising normally till 19th April when it stepped up to 1233.6 and there it remains!

I’ve deleted 3 errant entries in the Statistics thing but as yet the history, nor the current value, has changed.

Not sure what to do next?

I had this entity feeding my Energy dashboard but now i’ve change that to the daily version.

I’ve experienced this problem in the past couple of days too. Last ‘correct’ reading of 5678 at 18:00 on 1st May. It didn’t record the overnight charge in the early hours of 2nd & 3rd May and remained relatively flat until a sudden jump at 05:20 on 3rd May showing a reading of 5869. It’s now 21:30 on 4th May and the reading hasn’t changed. The GivEnergy app shows that our normal battery charge has been between 7 - 10 kWh / day.
