I am new to home assistant, but trying to write some automations for my GivEnergy inverter to charge and discharge at specific times.
I have installed mosquito and givtcp version 3. In devices, I see the givtcp control and when opened I see the controls.
I have a few questions about the functionality…
On this screen, it is possible to change the settings eg toggle the Enable Charge Schedule. However within a few seconds, it reverts back to the previous setting. Should I be able to change these settings in this screen?
One this GivEnergy app, changing inverter settings settings such as ‘time charged enabled’ is not reflected in the GivTCP - how often should these controls refresh.
Finally, and most importantly, I have set up some test automations, triggered by time, to set the inverter to export for 5 minutes. The automation says it has run, but the inverter has not responded.
Not sure if the above or all linked? Have I missed something obvious.
Any suggestions most welcome.
