So I’m having trouble with the Gmail integration. It constantly (once a week or so) wants to reconfigure. Which makes me login to google again. Is there anyway to stop this? I have the google calendar integration and it doesn’t make me do that.
I have the same issue with Google Calendar, about every week or two it wants to re-do the authentication flow. I don’t use the gmail integration, but it’s likely the same issue behind both. I was hoping there would be a setting in the Google API console for how long the OAuth token is valid for, but I’ve not found one yet!
That’s funny because I have both and the google calendar didn’t do that. I have two different OAuth tokens so I got rid of the one for Gmail and only used the one for Google Calendar. I don’t know what is different in the settings for that one but it seems like it is ok now, but it has only been 3 days. We will see after a few weeks.
It asked me to re-authenticate today…
Are you using an app password?
I guess? I’m using the Gmail integration. It uses API keys but still asks to authenticate after installing.
I have been having this issue with Google Calendar ever since I switched my HA from running on HAOS to running in Docker. Every time my docker server reboots, it needs to reauthenticate Google Calendar manually. Is there a docker option that I can use to make this more stable?
May be we are asking in the wrong place?
