I have Home Assistant running within an Oracle VM and recently upgraded. Since the upgrade, I am getting the GNU GRUB screen on boot up
If I go to the command prompt, and do an ‘ls’, I get the following:
I have seen other posts with the same issue, but no resolutions. any advice?
The GRUB console is not a Linux shell. Unless you speak the GRUB language, there’s nothing there to be done. What you should do is select one of the slots in that menu you get, and hit ENTER.
Thanks, I did check each option, which just resulted in a reboot loop.
I ended up rebuilding the VM and loading up a backup. Lost some work, but I’m back business now.
