I have a GoControl GD00Z-4 that I had working with an Aeotec Z-Stick 5. I am trying to upgrade to the Aeotec Z-Stick 7. I am not able to get the the Stick 7 to see the GoControl. I made sure the exclude the GoControl before setting up the Stick 7. Has anyone been able to get these working together?
May not be that stick… Depending on which version of the go control you have you may have to have the stick LITERALLY (6" / 15cm) right next to the GDOZ module to pair successfully.
I have a 100’ cat5 cable so I can bring my entire HA rig into the garage to pair mine… (ZWaveJSUI default join options, force security, yes S0). I did one two days ago on a Zooz stick but all the 700 use the same SI chip under the hood
(this may also apply to your lock in the other thread. Some model schlage use whisper mode pairing like this)
Thanks for the suggestion. I guess I hoping my repeaters would have prevented the need to do this. I’ll give this a try and see what happens.
