HA user for about 5 years.
In the beginning it was all very exciting, buying the various pieces for the home a few here, a few there, syncing the services with HA and Alexa. Ahhh the fun years.
Now I’m older and wiser and want to go 100% local on a zero-internet dedicated IOT network I have a bit of a rats nest of platforms to try and unwind.
My main concern is my house lights, wall switches/dimmers and ceiling fans. I have probably 3 different platforms that seem to be web-tied which I need to either isolate with a local integration, or replace completely.
#1 Lutron - I have 5 wall switches on the Lutron Caseta platform with the smart bridge, is this something I can run web free as long as it’s on the same internal network as HA? Or is there a hub-free option in HA?
#2 Smart things - 1 wall switch and 1 generic wifi ceiling fan/light dimmer.
#3 GE - One or two GE light switches (no idea of model now).
I’m hoping I can ‘claim’ some of these devices with HA so I don’t have any apps or cloud platforms associated with them. Those I cannot liberate I will replace with new devices if anyone can recommend local-only friendly options.
