I build a little integration that tells you where and when to go fishing!

Currently to be added as custom repository in HACS - soon available as direct download there…

Addd a location and select from a list of species you’re after and let Home Assistant tell you when it’s worth leaving home.
Calculations are based on species preferences, local weather conditions and sun/moon positions.
I have no idea if it really tells the truth, as there are too many factors to take into consideration, but it is a fun project.

My brother literally just asked me if it was possible to integrate bassforecast with Home Assistant. This uses very similar techniques with the Solunar pattern. FANTASTIC!!

I had to use timezonefinder==5.2 to get this to load on HA OS.
Don’t know if any of the other settings make a difference but my location is costal. Seems to be geared towards freshwater.
